Located in Denton County. The Colony originated in 1969 when land developers Fox and Jacobs purchased the land. The “dream city” was patterned after Dallas specifications. The streets were named after the original land owners and members of the crews that worked on the infrastructure of the time.
The Colony offers up a home-town feel with a Neighbors helping Neighbors attitude. Known for tree lined streets and Lake Lewisville shorelines in its backyard while big-city advantages are not far away.
